Antique Temple Facade
An interesting early 18th Century Jain temple piece sourced from northern India, which would have been installed in a recess as an altar where offerings would have been made. Mounted on two elephants, the piece has detailed carvings, painted over time with traces of element colours, reds, blues, oranges. A statement collector's piece to treasure and admire.
